Welcome to Thrihyrne - a home for my fanfiction and some stories by other authors that I recommend.

Thrihyrne is a three mountain range in Rohan located behind the Hornburg. My writings initially tended to focus on the Rohirrim, a race of Men within Tolkien's Third Age of Middle Earth, and since discovering fanfiction in February of 2003, I have written a mountain's worth myself. Within Tolkien fandom I also tend to write about Dwarvish/Elvish interaction. From 2004-07, I wrote primarily Harry Potter fanfiction, nearly all slash, and fairly Ron- or George-centric. In 2008 I made a major change, writing primarily Wraeththu fanfiction set within the series written by Storm Constantine, whom I was fortunate enough to meet in person in England in October of 2008! I have a book contract with her for a Wraeththu novella; the process of converting something from a fanfiction audience to a more general one is proving to be rather time-consuming but quite the learning process. I also continued to write a few stories in HP as well as a few short things in two new fandoms, Ellen Kushner's Swordspoint trilogy and Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. Here in 2010 I'm focusing on two Wraeththu stories to be published by Immanion Press and at long last, I'm trying my hand at some original fiction. I hope that you enjoy your visit!
